[The Fact ｜ Reporter Park Ji-yoon] Girl group ITZY's Lia returns to her group in the second half of this year.

Her agency, JYP Entertainment, announced the news of Lia's return to activity through its official SNS on the 8th. The agency explained, "The symptoms of tension and anxiety that Lia has been experiencing have greatly improved through treatment and rest. She has decided to return to her activities starting with ITZY's new album, which is scheduled to be released in the second half of the year."

Earlier on this day, Lia participated in a live broadcast celebrating the 5th anniversary of MIDZY (fandom name) with her members. She foreshadowed the resumption of her activities, saying, "We are working hard to prepare for her return with her upcoming new album," making her fans cheer.

According to the agency, only Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna will participate in pre-arranged schedules and filming prior to the release of her new album.

Lastly, the agency added, "We are grateful to the fans who sent warm encouragement and support for Lia's recovery," and added, "We will continue to support the artist so that she can meet her fans in good health."

ITZY will hold performances in Asia as part of its second world tour, 'ITZY 2ND WORLD TOUR 'BORN TO BE', in July and August. Having recently completed a successful tour of the Americas, they will hold solo concerts starting in Taipei on the 20th, Manila on August 3rd, and Hong Kong on the 10th, and continue their world tour with 32 concerts in 28 regions around the world.

Lia suspended her activities in September last year due to health reasons. At the time, the JYP said, "Lia has been experiencing extreme tension and anxiety recently. The medical staff has advised that she needs rest and treatment." Afterwards, she focused on treatment and recovery and did not participate in team activities.
