[The Fact|Reporter Park Ji Yoon] Lisa, a member of BlackPink, has been caught up in a plagiarism controversy.
On the 6th (local time), video maker Gabriel Moses raised suspicions of copying Lisa's music video "Rockstar" through his personal social media. He believes that there are similarities between this song and the song "FE!N" in Travis Scott's official album "UTOPIA" that he directed.
Gabriel Moses said: "Lisa's side contacted my editor to get inspiration from 'FE!N'. The editor refused but they still did it without our consent."
He asked Lisa's side to release an official comment before the end of this month, but so far, Lisa's management company has not released any official information.
"Rockstar'' was released on May 28, marking the first time Lisa released a single after she founded her own music company, LLOUD Co. This is an outstanding song with Lisa's skillful rap combined with dynamic pop vocals, completed with the participation of Ryan Tedder and Sam Homaee, members of the famous pop rock group from America, OneRepublic.
