[THE FACTㅣReporter Si-hyung Kim] The representative 4th generation girl group NewJeans was selected as the 'World Best Performer' at the '2024 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS (TMA)' held at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Osaka, Japan on the 8th.
On the 8th, NewJeans won the 'World Best Performer' award at the 2024 The Fact Music Awards, hosted by <The Fact> and organized by FAN N STAR and FEELINGVIVE at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Osaka, Japan.
The top 4th generation girl group NewJeans was honored with the 'Artist of the Year' and 'Musinsa Popularity Award', as well as the World Best Performer award, given to artists who captivate audiences with their outstanding
The World Best Performer award is given to artists or teams selected as Artist of the Year who captivate audiences with their outstanding performances and stages, and is selected based on 60% of the music and album scores and 40% of the scores from the professional judges (composer Park Geun-tae, composer Jo Young-soo, producer Ryan Jeon, and The Fact editor-in-chief Jeong Jae-woong).

NewJeans recently surpassed 5 billion cumulative streams on 'Spotify', the world's largest music streaming platform. The total number of streams of songs released by NewJeans so far was 5,010,3405 as of the 31st of last month. This is an achievement made in about 2 years and 1 month since their debut.
Specifically, 'OMG' was streamed over 700 million times, 'Ditto' and 'Super Shy' over 600 million times, 'Hype Boy' over 500 million times, 'Attention' over 400 million times, 'NewJeans' and 'ETA' and 'Cookie' over 200 million times, and 'Hurt' and 'Cool With You' 'ASAP' 'Get Up' and 'How Sweet' over 100 million times. As of last month, Spotify had approximately 16.39 million monthly listeners.
'2024 The Fact Music Awards' is a hot global festival enjoyed by artists and fandoms together under the slogan 'NEW GEN FOR FANSTIVAL'.
