[The Fact | Reporter Kim Myung Joo] Singer-songwriter Kwon Jin Ah is stirring up the comeback atmosphere by pre-releasing a track from her third official album.
Another’s management agency said on the 10th, “Kwon Jin Ah will release the song ‘Love & Hate’ and the MV from her third official album, The Dreamest, at 6 p.m. today.”
The new song “Love & Hate” is a soulful pop ballad that expresses the conflicting emotions of intense and fierce love with Kwon Jin Ah’s signature soulful voice. The song begins with the paradoxical confession “I hope you’ll hurt. Hurt a lot more than me” and ends with an emotional twist “I hurt the most when you hurt”.
The accompanying MV features Kim Doyeon – former member of Weki Meki and I.O.I – and model Hong Tae Joon, delicately depicting the complex emotions of love and hate in a relationship.
After about 6 years since her second official album My Shape released in September 2019, Kwon Jin Ah will return with the new album The Dreamest on the 25th. This is her first album collaborating with her new management company Another since February this year, showing her passion and strong determination towards music.
The album The Dreamest consists of 10 songs, including the pre-release track “Love & Hate” and two title tracks “Reunion” and “Let Go”. Kwon Jin Ah directly participated in writing lyrics, composing, and arranging all the songs, enhancing the overall quality of the album.
To celebrate the release of her third album, Kwon Jin Ah will hold a solo concert on May 10 and 11 at Jamsil Gymnasium in Seoul, where she will perform her new songs live for the first time.
