On April 14, management company The Black Label posted a teaser video announcing the comeback of MEOVV (Soo-in, Ga-won, Anna, Na-rin, Ella) on their official social media. At the same time, they announced: "On April 28, they will release the single 'HANDS UP (Handz Up)', and then on May 12, they will release their first mini album 'MY EYES OPEN VVIDE (My Eyes Open Wide)'."
