[The FactㅣReporter Jeong Byung Geun] Female rapper Cheetah will start a new chapter in her career under new agency Double X Entertainment with the release of a new song after 2 years.
According to Double X Entertainment (abbreviated as Double X) on April 28, Cheetah will release a new song on May 5. This is her first new music product in about 2 years since the digital single "Polyphony" released in 2023, and also the first song she released under Double X Entertainment.
Double X shared, "Cheetah will return with a song with a deeper message and a fresh, new charm for fans." Cheetah, who has established herself with her top-notch rap skills and strong stage presence, is expected to open a new chapter.
Cheetah debuted in 2010 as a member of the girl group Blacklist, and rose to fame after winning season 1 of Mnet's “Unpretty Rapstar” in 2015. She then continued to participate as a rap coach on “Produce 101” and a mentor on “High School Rapper 2”. Off stage, she has also shown her distinct charm through entertainment programs such as “Goal-striking Girls”.
Last October, Cheetah signed an exclusive contract with Double X Entertainment and revealed plans for various projects.
In addition to the song to be released in May, she also plans to continue her active musical activities with the next products. Currently, Cheetah is focusing all their efforts on preparing a new song with the goal of making a comeback on May 5.
