[The Fact | Reporter Jeong Byeong-geun] BTS Jin's new song music video leaves a deep impression with just one scene, making people look forward to the main part.
On the 14th, Big Hit Music, the agency, released the music video teaser for Jin's 2nd mini album 'Echo' title song 'Don't Say You Love Me' on the Hive Labels YouTube channel. Jin left a strong impression by implicitly expressing complex and subtle emotions about love in this one scene lasting about 37 seconds.
The video begins with Jin walking alone among a crowd of people. Jin's footsteps gradually slow down and stop, and at the end of his gaze, actress Shin Se-kyung appears as his ex-lover. The gazes of the two people who face each other without saying anything are touching.
The lyrical melody inserted in the video also captivates the ears. The lyrics "You just gotta let me go" and Jin's strong vocals that resonate at the end of the video, following the gently flowing piano accompaniment, add to the emotion.
'Don't Say You Love Me' is a pop song with a plain sound and restrained composition that creates a lonely atmosphere. It deals with the feelings of a couple who are suffering as their relationship falls apart but cannot easily let each other go.
Jin's 2nd mini album 'Echo' is an album that depicts the various moments of life spreading out like 'echoes' in different forms. It includes 7 tracks including the title song 'Don't Say You Love Me', 'Nothing Without Your Love', 'Loser' (feat. Choi Ye-na), 'Rope It', 'Traveling with the Clouds', 'Background', and 'Today's Me'. Jin will release his 2nd mini album 'Echo' on the 16th at 1 PM.
