
Actress Ki Eun-se denied rumors related to her ex-husband. On the 22nd, on Channel A's variety show "Close Friends Documentary: Table for Four," Ki Eun-se revealed her home along with her close friends Shin Da-eun and Kim Yoon-ji. Ki Eun-se proudly showed off her luxurious home with a fingerprint recognition door handle in the bedroom and stylish interior design. She married a Korean-American businessman who is 12 years her senior in 2012 but divorced in 2023. At the time of her marriage, the house Ki Eun-se lived in was a high-end apartment D located in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, estimated to be worth 3.9 billion KRW in 2023.
On the show, Ki Eun-se explained, "Because I married someone wealthy, I thought living alone was also thanks to his financial power," adding, "I have never taken what belongs to others." Shin Da-eun said, "She is a first-generation influencer, but people seem to think, 'If I had a house like that, I would live like her.' But that's not true. She works really hard all day long." Kim Yoon-ji also added, "She is one of the hardest-working people I know."
Ki Eun-se shared, "I think I wouldn't have been able to focus on and be grateful for what I have now if I hadn't been who I was before." Additionally, she had to leave the daily drama "Golden Fish" midway due to the co-actor's injury. Ki Eun-se explained, "I played a nurse in a tvN drama and was the main lead. We took posters and filmed, but after the screening, the director was replaced, and all the roles were changed."
She revealed that she could not film the last two or three episodes of the drama "The Musical" due to unpaid wages. Park Kyung-lim, who appeared with her, said, "The staff couldn't film because they weren't paid, and the actors didn't receive their fees either," describing the situation at the time. Ki Eun-se said, "'The Musical' was supposed to be my last chance as an actor, but I thought, 'This isn't going to work either.' Not only did my dream collapse, but the company collapsed, and everything fell apart." She confessed, "I think I worked a lot in my twenties, but in the end, I hardly showed anything. It was a continuous wait. If I didn't give up, I would be unhappy, so I ended up giving up."
Park Kyung-lim described her first impression of Ki Eun-se, saying, "I thought she only cared about being pretty. She gives off the vibe of a youngest daughter from a wealthy family." To this, Ki Eun-se emphasized, "The public's perception of me and who I am are very different.
