TWICE unit MISAMO will release their first full-length album in Japan. Composed of Mina, Sana, and Momo, this unit will release their first full album, "PLAY," in Japan on February 4, 2024. Their agency, JYP Entertainment, released a trailer video and images on TWICE's official Japanese SNS channel on the afternoon of November 21.

The trailer video begins with Mina's narration, "Welcome to the stage." The video shows posters of their previous works, "Masterpiece" and "HAUTE COUTURE," followed by a scene where a door to a theater opens. Mina, Sana, and Momo, dressed in glamorous dresses, sit in the audience while looking confidently at themselves on stage in suits. Amid the contrast between the two perspectives, the message is conveyed: "Your seat right now might not actually be in the audience. Reality ends here, and now it's time to take the stage." The video blurs the boundary between the two spaces, and the accompanying images, arranged like a theater cast announcement, heighten anticipation for MISAMO's new music.

Since releasing their debut album "Masterpiece" in July 2023, MISAMO released their second mini-album "HAUTE COUTURE" in November 2024. They captivated global fans with a classic and sophisticated mood. MISAMO, releasing their first full-length album about two years and seven months after their local debut, continues to maintain their popularity through activities in Japan.

In January of this year, they concluded their first dome tour, "MISAMO JAPAN DOME TOUR 2024 'HAUTE COUTURE'," which attracted a total audience of 250,000, including a solo performance at Tokyo Dome. This concert reaffirmed MISAMO's popularity. Not only active as a unit, but also achieving career highs as TWICE, the "global top girl group," they plan to start 2026 brilliantly with new music.
