
The group &TEAM has placed all of their releases this year in the top 10 of major categories on the Japan Oricon annual charts. According to the "Oricon Annual Ranking 2025" announced on the 17th, &TEAM's Korean mini-album 1st EP "Back to Life" ranked 6th in the "Album Ranking" category. Their third single "Go in Blind" reached 9th place in the "Single Ranking."
&TEAM's Korean mini-album 1st EP "Back to Life" is an album that condenses the bond and growth of the nine members over their three-year journey since debuting in 2022. This album received acclaim for containing six tracks that embody the team's identity of "Wolf DNA" and HYBE's "Global DNA," showcasing a spirit of challenge and an expanded musical spectrum. The third single "Go in Blind" is a song depicting their bold journey beyond boundaries toward the world. &TEAM conveyed their determination to prove their territory by overcoming adversity with intense energy. As a result, they gained great popularity not only in Japan but also in Korea.
&TEAM showed rapid growth through successful activities in Korea, the home of K-pop, in October and November. "Back to Life" sold 1,222,022 copies in its first week of release, recording the highest sales among Korean-language albums released in October. With this, &TEAM set a milestone as the first Japanese artist to achieve "million-seller" status in both Korea and Japan, consecutively selling over one million copies following their previous work "Go in Blind."
Additionally, &TEAM entered the US Billboard charts. "Back to Life" ranked 5th on the "World Albums" chart, 12th on the "Top Current Album Sales," and 13th on the "Top Album Sales" chart dated November 29, placing high on key sub-charts. Based on this popularity, &TEAM also claimed the No. 1 spot on Billboard's "Emerging Artists."
Meanwhile, &TEAM plans to spectacularly conclude 2025 through major year-end music programs and festival stages both domestically and internationally, including SBS's "2025 Gayo Daejeon with Bithumb," KBS2's "Music Bank Global Festival in Japan," TBS's "67th Japan Record Awards," and NHK's "Kohaku Uta Gassen." &TEAM's growth symbolizes the global expansion of K-pop and raises expectations for their future activities.
