
Singer Lee Chan-won donated the prize money of 1 million won won at the December King of Kings competition of Seonhan Star to support emergency treatment expenses for children with pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases. The Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation announced this on the 8th. Seonhan Star is a donation platform that supports the positive influence of stars, operating by encouraging through the singer's videos and songs and donating prize money according to rankings.
Through Seonhan Star, Lee Chan-won has achieved a cumulative donation amount of 74.01 million won. After successfully completing the 'Hymn: Brilliant Day' performances in Seoul and Daegu, he plans to continue his tour in Incheon on the 10th and 11th, Busan on the 31st and February 1st, and Jinju on February 21st and 22nd.
The donated prize money will be used for emergency treatment expenses for children suffering from pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases. The Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation's emergency treatment expense support project aims to minimize treatment gaps and help children focus on treatment in a stable environment by providing hospitalization fees, medication costs, and ancillary treatment expenses to families facing economic crises due to sudden high medical expenses.

The Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit foundation registered with the Ministry of Health and Welfare in 2001, conducting various activities such as supporting treatment and surgery costs for children with pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare diseases, regular and one-time support for care treatment costs, emotional support, blood donation campaigns, and support for pediatric cancer children's shelters.
Lee Chan-won's donation provides practical help to the children, and his activities contribute to raising social awareness. The foundation plans to continue supporting the children consistently in the future.
