Jung Ga-eun revealed that she filed a fraud lawsuit against her ex-husband from whom she divorced. On the July 7th broadcast of KBS2's "Let's Live Together with Hwang Shin-hye," Jung Ga-eun shared her past and present, showing tears. The program featured a special retreat where Jung Ga-eun, Hwang Shin-hye, and Jang Yoon-jung shared their lives with each other.

Jung Ga-eun stated that after participating in the "Miss Korea" pageant at age 25, many opportunities came her way thanks to the title. At 26, she moved from Busan to Seoul and worked as a home shopping model to save money. She said that in her early 30s, her work increased after appearing on tvN's "Fun TV Rollercoaster" in the "Men and Women Exploration Life" segment, but her happiness decreased. She said, "I was so busy that it was hard, and I had no personal life."

Jung Ga-eun gave birth to a daughter at age 39 and expressed great joy at her birth. However, a year later, she went through a divorce and faced a shocking truth. She said, "Divorce was hard, but after that, I faced an even more shocking truth," adding, "I only found out after the divorce that my ex-husband had been committing fraud using my name." She added that she never imagined her ex-husband would do such a thing to her.

Jung Ga-eun revealed that her ex-husband opened accounts in her name and embezzled 13.2 billion won. Accordingly, she filed a lawsuit against her ex-husband on charges of fraud under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes. It is known that her ex-husband is currently not paying living expenses or child support and is living as a fugitive overseas.

Jang Yoon-jung offered words of comfort to Jung Ga-eun, saying, "As a mother, you worry about your child and hope the children are not shocked. But children are stronger than mothers think. As the child realizes this, they understand the mother's feelings more. So don't worry too much." Jung Ga-eun expressed gratitude for this comfort.
