Singer Hwang Garam has established herself as a powerhouse in digital music by placing two songs on the Melon annual chart. Hwang Garam's "I Am a Firefly" and "Missing You Madly" ranked 4th and 59th respectively on Melon's "2025 Annual Chart TOP100."
"I Am a Firefly," released in October 2024, topped various music charts. It ranked 1st on Kumyoung Karaoke's "2025 Year-End Summary Chart" and 2nd on TJ Karaoke's "2025 Most Sung Karaoke Popular Chart," receiving great public acclaim. The song has maintained steady popularity, surpassing 100 million cumulative streams on Melon.
"Missing You Madly," a remake released in February 2025, highlights Hwang Garam's emotive voice and unique sensibility. This song, which reinterprets messages of love and loss, also dominated major music charts, proving its commercial success.
