BTS Jimin has set a monumental record on the Spotify Korea charts. According to Spotify's update, the title track "Who" from Jimin's second solo album "MUSE" has held the number one spot on Spotify Korea's "Daily Top Songs" chart for 500 consecutive days. Released on July 19, 2024, "Who" immediately topped the chart upon release. Achieving 500 days at number one is the first and only record of its kind in the history of Spotify Korea's "Daily Top Songs" chart.
Jimin previously recorded 268 days at number one on the same chart with "Like Crazy," the title track from his first album "FACE." This means he holds both the most number one days and the second most number one days on the chart. Jimin's music power is overwhelming.
Additionally, "Set Me Free Pt.2," "Angel Pt.1," and the English version of "Like Crazy" also reached number one on the chart. With a total of five songs and 804 days at number one, Jimin became the first and only artist to surpass 800 cumulative number one days on Spotify Korea's "Daily Top Songs" chart.
On Spotify Korea's "Weekly Top Songs" chart, "Who" is the first and only song to maintain the number one position for an entire year (52 consecutive weeks) without losing the top spot even once. Currently, "Who" has held number one for 71 weeks on this chart, marking the longest-running number one song in the chart's history.
Jimin's "Who" is the most streamed song on the Spotify Korea chart, with over 89 million streams to date. Last August, "Like Crazy" surpassed 50 million streams, making Jimin the first and only artist to have two songs with over 50 million streams on this chart. Through these records, Jimin is demonstrating his extraordinary presence.
