Group BTS has set another record on the domestic music site Melon. The title track "Spring Day" from BTS's second full-length repackaged album "YOU NEVER WALK ALONE" ranked 77th on Melon's 2025 annual chart. Since its release in February 2017, this song has appeared on the annual chart for nine consecutive years, setting the longest-running chart record in the platform's annual chart history.

"Spring Day" has been consistently loved for its lyrics that maintain empathy over time and its lyrical melody. It was the first song on the Melon platform to surpass 1 billion cumulative streams and has also held the longest-running daily chart entry record in Melon's history, staying on the daily chart for about 7 years and 11 months since its release.

"Spring Day" is an alternative hip hop song combining Brit-rock sensibility and electronic sounds, with RM and Suga incorporating personal experiences into the lyrics. RM also participated in composing the main melody of the song. The song conveys a message of not losing hope while waiting to meet a distant friend.

In October last year, the American music magazine Rolling Stone ranked "Spring Day" 37th on its list of the "Greatest Songs of the 20th Century." This is the highest ranking for a Korean song.
