KEYVITUP, the first boy group produced by Kim Jaejoong, officially debuted on the 8th at 6 p.m. by releasing their first EP album titled 'KEYVITUP,' which shares the same name as the team.

Before their debut, KEYVITUP attracted attention by collaborating with various brands and being included in the global stage lineups of events such as 'KCON JAPAN 2026' and 'KCON LA 2026.' At the debut showcase, the members expressed their respect and gratitude toward producer Kim Jaejoong. Leader Hyunmin said, "Producer Kim Jaejoong is the head of the company but still actively works as an artist, a senior we truly respect," adding, "There was pressure from the title of 'first produced idol,' but it rather increased our desire to prove our skills." Jaein shared that Kim Jaejoong's advice to "not be nervous on stage and just give it your all" was very helpful. Sena said, "I took to heart the words that even if results don't come immediately, consistent effort will eventually bring results," and Rukia mentioned feedback that "doing what you want brings out your charm."

The team name KEYVITUP combines 'KEY' (key), 'VIT' (vitality), and 'UP' (rise) to mean "opening the doors of the world and delivering vitality." Their slogan is "Our music is the key that opens the doors of the world and a signal that awakens the world. Every time that signal sounds, new stages and new possibilities open. And at every moment of expansion, KEYVITUP evolves."

The title track of the first EP album is also 'KEYVITUP,' with all members participating in the lyrics writing. The track is a modern reinterpretation of old-school hip-hop and boom bap sounds, emphasizing the team's color and identity. Taehwan explained, "This album contains our ambition to create new paths with conviction and choice in a world that has fixed answers." Hyunmin expressed confidence in their stable live performance, saying, "Using hand microphones during performances is our unique point." Taehwan highlighted his distinctive vocal tone and high notes, Jaein mentioned his center performance utilizing long limbs, and Sena and Rukia respectively spoke about their charisma and 'ONF' charm on stage.

KEYVITUP garnered global fans' attention even before their debut through various promotions including the pre-release track 'BEST ONE,' and with the album release on this day, they officially began their full-scale activities.
