On the 8th, Wheein revealed two concept posters for "adagio" on her official SNS. The first poster shows Wheein standing alone among people, along with the title track name "The Symphony of Fxxkboys." The poster also includes the phrase "Why do they fake it?" The second poster features a harmony of red and black colors, revealing Wheein's face and the title of the B-side track "Truth Hurts."

This single is Wheein's first release since signing an exclusive contract with Withus Entertainment last July. "adagio" is a musical term meaning "slowly and calmly," reflecting Wheein's attitude toward music. She previously unveiled the mood of the new song through a music video teaser.
