Hwanhee broke down in tears during a visit to a photo studio with his mother on KBS 2TV's variety show "Men Who Do Housework Season 2."

In that episode, Hwanhee prepared to move in with his 74-year-old mother and showed filial piety by helping with meals and laundry. Having no cooking experience, Hwanhee upset his mother while making kimchi fried rice, and he also hung the bedding to dry without spinning it first, flooding the house. MC Eun Ji-won commented on Hwanhee's housekeeping skills, saying, "He's a genius at creating content. He's a new kind of troublemaker."

Hwanhee and his mother went to a photo studio to take passport photos. His mother took a passport photo for the first time in 74 years and expressed excitement about traveling abroad with Hwanhee for the first time. They also took a warm mother-and-son photo together.

While Hwanhee briefly stepped away, his mother requested to take a memorial photo. She explained, "A few days ago, my mother passed away. I thought I should take a memorial photo today since I couldn't take one for her. I thought if something happened to me, my sons would be at a loss." She also mentioned the need for a solo photo, saying, "When I saw my mother's memorial photo, it hurt my heart. It wasn't a memorial photo, it was just an ID photo."

Seeing this, Hwanhee was greatly shocked and asked, "Why a memorial photo all of a sudden?" and eventually burst into tears. His mother said, "Hwanhee hardly ever cries. Seeing my son cry made me wonder if I was wrong, and it brought tears to my eyes." The scene of Hwanhee breaking down also moved the MCs and cast members in the studio to tears.
