BTS members Jin, Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook experienced local culture by watching a lucha libre match at Arena México, Mexico's premier professional wrestling venue.

On the 9th, Jimin and Suga shared photos on their SNS showing their visit to Arena México. The released photos captured the members wearing masks of lucha libre wrestlers and sitting side by side posing in front of a photo wall. Jimin took a selfie wearing the iconic mask of Mexico's popular wrestler Mistico.

Additionally, photos showed Mistico wearing a white jacket engraved with the BTS logo and the group name 'BTS' standing in the ring. At the venue, Mistico personally welcomed the members with an introduction stating, "BTS visited Arena México." The members watched the match from the front row of the arena.

Mistico is the representative star of CMLL, Mexico's largest professional wrestling organization, known as an iconic figure in lucha libre for his spectacular aerial techniques and unique mask style. Arena México is called the "holy ground of lucha libre" locally.

BTS is currently performing the Mexico leg of their North American tour, 'BTS World Tour 'Arirang',' and on the 7th, ahead of their concert in Mexico City, they visited the Presidential Palace at the invitation of Claudia Sheinbaum, the President of Mexico.
