Director Yoo Jae-suk's debut, completing one day of shooting for the short-form drama "Hangout with Yoo?"

In episode 328 of MBC variety show "Hangout with Yoo," Yoo Jae-suk made his directorial debut and participated in the production of a short-form drama alongside Haha, Heo Kyung-hwan, Joo Woo-jae, Jung Joon-ha, Kim Seok-hoon, and Kim Sung-kyun.
Despite various constraints such as insufficient production budget, tight schedule, and a rough script, the filming of the drama "My Younger Brother Stole My Woman, So I Took Her Back" (abbreviated as "Donghoomnaeyeodabbaet") proceeded. The drama set was borrowed for free from the set of the existing drama "The First Man," and since props like family photos remained intact, various reactions arose among the cast. Joo Woo-jae said about the family photos, "Don't touch them. No need to explain. Just blur them out with out-of-focus shots," and Haha remarked, "This is like filming Parasite. Isn't this stealing the set rather than borrowing it?"
Haha's connections were also utilized for the OST and casting. Singer Baek Ji-young and violinist Danny Koo participated in the OST, and the appearances of Kim Seok-hoon and Kim Sung-kyun were confirmed. Kim Sung-kyun mentioned about the 3 million won investment proposal, "My wife scolded me. She said I said something unnecessary," and Joo Woo-jae promised to return the profits tenfold. Heo Kyung-hwan took on the female lead role after Kim Won-hee's casting fell through, and Jung Joon-ha played four roles by himself.
Filming was completed in a rapid, one-day shoot. The script reading was done with a script finalized about five hours before filming, and Kim Seok-hoon and Kim Sung-kyun had to finish shooting by 5 p.m. The cast prepared their own lunch boxes and ate together during breaks. Kim Sung-kyun said, "If we film like this, it won't even cost 3 million won. Didn't we bring costumes from other dramas? The set belongs to another team too," and Yoo Jae-suk replied, "The important thing isn't the costumes. Every movement costs money."
There were several incidents during filming. In a scene where Jung Joon-ha and Haha arrest Kim Sung-kyun, they shouted the male lead 'Gil-dong's name, and during a scene where Heo Kyung-hwan expressed anger, Jung Joon-ha hit him, causing the recording to stop. Also, in a scene where Jung Joon-ha transformed into Doctor 'Jenny' and performed CPR, Haha's ad-lib of singing Jenny's "Like Jenny" embarrassed Yoo Jae-suk. Yoo Jae-suk said, "Why are you singing there? Why are you playing Jenny?" and Joo Woo-jae added, "Why is Jenny appearing there?" Jung Joon-ha said, "My name is Jenny," and Haha added, "Since it's Jenny, this much is okay."
Heo Kyung-hwan dressed as a woman for the female lead also caught attention. Seeing Heo Kyung-hwan in a dress and high heels, Yoo Jae-suk said, "In-ok's calf muscles are no joke," and Heo Kyung-hwan commented on the calf muscles, saying, "In-ok must have lived a very hard life."
The completed full version of "Donghoomnaeyeodabbaet" was released on the official "Hangout with Yoo" channel.
