Seventeen member Dino will release his first mini album '吉BOARD' as his alter ego Picheolin on August 3rd.

Pledis Entertainment announced on the 11th that Dino's alter ego Picheolin will release his first mini album '吉BOARD'. The album title reinterprets 'Gilboard,' which referred to street cassette tapes and record stands in the 1990s, by combining the Chinese character '吉' meaning 'lucky' and the English word 'BOARD' meaning stage. The album carries the meaning of wishing blessings upon everyone's lives with the street as the stage.

Picheolin is a character set as the CEO of the music planning company BOMG and a producer full of passion and excitement. He first appeared in the 2021 Seventeen fan meeting VCR and has been loved by fans since. Through this album, Picheolin will begin full-fledged activities as a 'producer on the street' who samples people's stories and remixes them into music.

At 8 a.m. on the 11th, a video titled 'Monday Invitation: Guardian of Excitement Picheolin Exclusive Interview' was released on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel. The video features various versions of Picheolin from different eras such as the prehistoric era, the era of excitement, and the year 2126 appearing on a morning cultural program to introduce their own 'history of excitement.' The prehistoric Picheolin is depicted as a figure who discovered excitement before language and revived the spark with beats; the excitement era Picheolin developed the sound of clashing spears into festive music; and the 2126 Picheolin is introduced as having led harmony through rhythms discovered during a duel with alien rivals.

In the latter part of the video, the 2026 Picheolin appears, arriving late at the broadcasting station, followed by a lightning strike and the disappearance of other Picheolins. The 2026 Picheolin ends the scene by sending his trademark 'eyes of love' to the camera. The video includes a snippet of a new song blending heavy beats with sophisticated saxophone sounds, and a phone ringtone featuring the lyrics, "Crazy, crazy. I must be crazy. I must be crazy for you."

Dino debuted in 2015 as Seventeen and is known in the music industry as the 'Golden Maknae.'
