Yura confessed, "I lost confidence in my appearance after seeing Suzy and Jiyeon on MBC's 'Flower Bouquet'... I cried inside the booth."

Girls' Day member Yura revealed her experience of having significantly low confidence in her appearance during her early debut days.
In a recent video uploaded on her personal YouTube channel 'YuraYuraHae,' Yura had an honest conversation with member Sojin while reminiscing about the past. Yura stated that when she first moved to Seoul from Ulsan, she thought she was the prettiest. However, her confidence in her looks was greatly shaken when she wore a wedding dress and filmed with other girl group members such as Suzy from miss A and Jiyeon from T-ara on MBC's 'Bouquet' program. Yura recalled, "At first, I was shocked when I saw Suzy, and I was shocked again when I saw Jiyeon. It wasn't just one or two people." She added that after the shoot, she went alone into a booth and cried, thinking, "I'm not pretty. As expected, the metropolitan area is the metropolitan area."
In the video, Sojin recalled Yura's first impression, saying, "She had just moved to Seoul and was really pure and confident." Yura also mentioned how she joined Girls' Day in the early days. She said, "I was originally with another company, and Girls' Day had already debuted. I wondered if it would be okay for me to go there, but when I actually came, everyone was so talented." Sojin remembered Yura's joining period, saying, "You must have really struggled. I would never have joined after seeing 'Gyauttung.'"
The two talked about their first impressions of each other, their adaptation process within the team, and when their teamwork improved. Yura said, "It got better starting from 'Expect.' We were really united among ourselves." Sojin added, "After the 'Don't Forget Me' promotions ended, we really started to gel."
Meanwhile, Yura was born in 1992 and debuted as a member of Girls' Day in 2010. Since then, she gained popularity by releasing several hit songs such as "Twinkle Twinkle," "Just One Hug," "Female President," "Expect," "Something," and "Ring My Bell." She has also worked as an actress, appearing in KBS2's "Radio Romance," SBS's "Now, We Are Breaking Up," JTBC's "Forecasting Love and Weather," and JTBC's "Uncontrollably Fond." Recently, she has been communicating with fans through her personal channel.
