In the TVING original "Becoming a Cooking Soldier Legend," Park Ji-hoon won the hearts of his fellow soldiers with heartfelt cooking.

In the second episode aired on the 12th, Park Ji-hoon delicately portrayed the emotional line of his character Kang Sung-jae. In the drama, Kang Sung-jae faced a crisis when Lieutenant Colonel Baek Chun-ik (played by Jung Woong-in) collapsed after eating the sea urchin seaweed soup he made and was taken away by the military police. However, it was revealed that the cause was not poison or a cooking mistake but Lieutenant Colonel Baek's perilla powder allergy, and Baek highly praised the soup's taste, saying he "saw heaven."

Through a conversation with a counselor, Kang Sung-jae recalled the teachings of his late father and regained his composure. Later, Captain Hwang Seok-ho (played by Lee Sang-yi), the company commander, suggested a position change, but Kang Sung-jae refused and expressed his determination to remain a cooking soldier.

Using the status window system, he eliminated the smell of old rice with vinegar and captivated the soldiers' taste buds with a spicy bean sprout soup, showing his growth as a cooking soldier. Sergeant Yoon Dong-hyun (played by Lee Hong-nae) also felt Kang Sung-jae's sincerity and cooperated with him.

However, Captain Hwang continued to try to change Kang Sung-jae's position. In response, Kang Sung-jae attempted to persuade him by frying pork cutlets himself but failed the quest, and the status window system disappeared, presenting a new challenge.

Meanwhile, "Becoming a Cooking Soldier Legend," starring Park Ji-hoon, airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM on TVING and tvN.
