Rain, Hwang Chi-yeul says 'Marriage recommendation' "If you find someone compatible, hurry up"

Rain (Jung Ji-hoon) appeared on SBS PowerFM’s ’Escape at 2PM Cultwo Show’ to share his thoughts on marriage and family. On the May 13th broadcast, Rain appeared as a guest on the ’Special Invitation’ segment, where Hwang Chi-yeul joined as a special DJ.

During the broadcast, Rain revealed that he and Hwang Chi-yeul have been friends for eight years, being the same age. The two built their friendship by appearing together on the same program in the past. Regarding marriage, Rain said, ″If you find the right person, it’s better to get married quickly,″ actively recommending marriage to Hwang Chi-yeul. He also emphasized, ″I told him unconditionally, ’Get married as soon as possible.’″

The show also revealed the story of Rain adjusting his schedule to attend his daughter’s sports day. Rain expressed his affection for his family, saying, ″I thought taking care of my family comes first, so I asked for understanding and made a request, and fortunately, they agreed.″ About the sports day, he said, ″I participated in the tug-of-war and ended up with a sore body. I stood at the very front,″ explaining that although it was difficult due to a lack of coordination with the opposing team, they eventually won. He also shared an anecdote about participating in the dad’s relay race, saying, ″Jung Suk-won is obviously very fast. He’s from the special forces. I ran thinking he would naturally be fast, but being physically fit and being good at running are different. I wore running shoes, but the basketball court floor was dusty, so I slipped everywhere. It was disappointing. We lost.″

Rain said he married actress Kim Tae-hee on January 19, 2017, after five years of dating, and they have two daughters born in October 2017 and September 2019.
