Yoon Jong-shin joins Yoo Jae-suk and Jang Hang-jun as MC on 'Happy Together' for the first time in 6 years... Premieres in July

Yoon Jong-shin is joining KBS 2TV’s new variety show ″Happy Together - Glad Not to Be Alone″ (hereinafter ″Happy Together″) as an MC. ″Happy Together″ is a representative KBS variety program that aired for 20 years from 2001 to 2020, loved for its various popular segments and humorous talk.

This season, Yoon Jong-shin will co-host with Yoo Jae-suk and Jang Hang-jun. ″Happy Together″ is making a comeback after six years, newly planned as a storytelling music audition proving the ″reason to sing together.″ Anyone can apply as a ″team″ regardless of age, genre, or qualifications, and the team’s unique story and harmony will be the judging criteria.

Yoon Jong-shin has been recognized for his musical expertise as a judge on various music audition programs such as ″Superstar K″ and ″Sing Again.″ In this program, he will serve as an MC based on his long experience as a musician, producer, and entertainer. The ″Happy Together″ team stated, ″Yoon Jong-shin has joined as an MC for the newly returning ’Happy Together,’″ adding that the combination with Yoo Jae-suk and Jang Hang-jun will make the participants’ stories shine even more.

Yoon Jong-shin and Yoo Jae-suk reunite as fixed members for the first time in a long while since the SBS variety show ″Family Outing,″ which ended in February 2010. Although the two have met several times as MC and guest, it has been about 16 years since they appeared together as regular cast members. Yoo Jae-suk has mentioned his special connection with Yoon Jong-shin on various variety shows in the past.

Jang Hang-jun and Yoon Jong-shin are known as close friends in the entertainment industry, maintaining nearly 30 years of friendship. Yoon Jong-shin recently appeared on the tvN variety show ″You Quiz on the Block,″ revealing that Jang Hang-jun was a refuge in life when he was burdened with 600 million won in debt in his 30s. The two are also scheduled to appear together on the KBS 2TV variety show ″Problematic Men in the Rooftop Room″ later this month.

″Happy Together″ is set to premiere in July, and applications for participants are open on the official website until the 31st of this month.
