MINGI, a member of the group ATEEZ, showcased everything from his professional side to his warm human charm during the production of his solo track ‘Dinero’.

In the ‘Dinero’ Production Behind video released on ATEEZ’s official YouTube channel on the 13th, MINGI is seen participating in the entire process of planning, recording, and filming, building his own unique musical identity.

MINGI expressed a firm vision regarding the direction of the song. He explained that while his previous work, ‘ROAR,’ showcased madness and rage, this time he wanted to emphasize a “sophisticated and relaxed vibe”. Regarding the vocal tone, he improved the song's quality by suggesting, "It would be cooler to have a relaxed, effortless delivery rather than a perfectly prepared feeling".

MINGI’s relentless effort for a perfect outcome was also noteworthy. In the recording studio, he revised specific pronunciations of the lyrics and fine-tuned the intensity of his growling (vocal rasping), conducting multiple re-recordings.

On the filming set, MINGI’s cheerful personality shone through.

During the music video shoot, a coffee truck sent by fellow member SAN arrived. MINGI expressed his delight, saying, “I didn't realize he knew I was filming a music video,” and took commemorative photos.

Concluding the video, MINGI shared his thoughts: “We tried new camera angles and formats, and I’m satisfied that the results turned out well,” and added, “Please look forward to my upcoming projects”.

Featuring ATEEZ MINGI’s new challenge, ‘Dinero’ is receiving a passionate response from global fans, blending a sophisticated beat with MINGI’s signature relaxed rapping.
