Trot singer Park Ji-hyun appeared on the variety show ″Jeon Hyun-moo Project 3″ and talked about her past, the reason for her debut as a singer, and her event fees.

On the May 15th broadcast of MBN and Channel S’s ″Jeon Hyun-moo Project 3,″ Park Ji-hyun visited Samcheok, Gangwon Province with Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube to find local seafood restaurants. During this process, Park Ji-hyun revealed her past experience working in the seafood wholesale business. She explained that she naturally got involved in the seafood industry because her maternal uncle worked on a boat and her maternal grandfather was the head of a fishing village. She added that she started working to help her mother, who was struggling. Park Ji-hyun stated that she worked in the seafood industry with her mother for about five years starting in her early twenties.

She also mentioned that she handled skate fish while working at the seafood market. When Jeon Hyun-moo asked about her experience preparing skate fish, Park Ji-hyun replied, ″When I calculated it, it was about 60,000 something.″

Regarding her debut as a singer, Park Ji-hyun said she dreamed of becoming a singer since middle school and challenged herself to trot because she grew up always listening to trot music while her family ran a business at home. She explained, ″I didn’t even realize it, but it turns out I knew trot very well. Since my family always ran a business, trot was always playing. So, I grew up listening to trot and challenged myself to become a trot singer, and it went very well.″

The broadcast also covered Park Ji-hyun’s event fees. When Jeon Hyun-moo asked about her first event income, Park Ji-hyun answered, ″Before debuting as an entertainer, I received 300,000 won.″ Regarding her current event fees, she said, ″They have increased a lot. I get paid well now,″ but did not disclose specific amounts. When Kwak Tube mentioned specific figures and created rumors, Park Ji-hyun denied it, saying, ″I don’t get paid that much.″
