Kim Jaejoong announced the birth of his nephew’s son.

In the May 15th broadcast of KBS 2TV’s ’Shinsangchulsi Pyeonstorang,’ Kim Jaejoong invited his friends Choi Jin-hyuk, Yoon Si-yoon, and Yoo Seon-ho to his home and personally prepared dishes such as jjambbong samgyetang. During cooking, Kim Jaejoong mentioned in a conversation with his mother, ″My nephew had a baby. Is he growing well? He’s my grandchild,″ referring to the news of his nephew’s pregnancy from a year ago. He then shared the news of his nephew’s birth, saying, ″I became a grandfather.″

The family tree of Kim Jaejoong’s nine siblings was also updated in the broadcast that day. Following eight brothers-in-law and nephews, the grandchild ’2-1-1’ was born, bringing the total number of family members to 34 as of May. When Hong Ji-yoon said the family would likely grow further, Kim Jaejoong replied, ″It will probably keep expanding.″

Also, when mentioning that his nephew’s son had passed 100 days, Kim Jaejoong said, ″I miss him. He’s my first grandchild. The feeling is really strange.″
