BTS Jungkook will take the stage as a co-headliner with BTS at the halftime show of the 2026 FIFA North and Central America World Cup final. The performance will be held on July 19 at the New Jersey Stadium in New York, USA.

The World Music Awards (WMA) announced through their official account that Jungkook was the first Asian artist to headline the 2022 FIFA World Cup and will perform together with BTS at this halftime show. They also stated that Jungkook will be the first male artist and Asian artist to perform at multiple FIFA World Cup events.

Jungkook performed ″Dreamers″ live at the opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup and also participated in the official soundtrack ″Dreamers.″ This marks Jungkook’s second appearance on the World Cup stage. He will join Colombian pop star Shakira as an artist who has performed more than twice at FIFA World Cup events.

The ″Dreamers″ music video posted on the official FIFA YouTube channel has surpassed 440 million views. This video was the first on the channel to exceed 400 million views and holds the record for the highest number of views in the channel’s history. ″Dreamers″ has accumulated over 529 million streams on Spotify and set records as the first official World Cup soundtrack to chart on iTunes and the US Billboard charts.
