Hyungwon of Monsta X departed for Tokyo, Japan through Gimpo Airport on the afternoon of May 15 to attend the ″3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026″ (ASEA 2026).

ASEA 2026 will be held over two days, May 16 and 17, at Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Hyungwon will serve as the MC at the awards ceremony on the 16th, marking his second time hosting following ASEA 2025 last year. On the first day, the MCs will be Hyungwon of Monsta X and Ray of IVE, while on the second day, TVXQ’s Changmin and actress Lee Sung-kyung will take on the MC roles.

The event will feature performances by Akira Akasaka, Alphadriveone, &TEAM, CANDY TUNE, CUTIE STREET, DXTEEN, Enhypen, FRUITS ZIPPER, I-DIT, KIMURA MISA, KYOKA, Atsuhiro Sato, SWEET STEADY, and BIBI UP. Actors Lee Junho, Go Yoon-jung, and Lee Chae-min will also attend. On the second day, ATEEZ, Hats2Hats, Ikuta Toma, Kwon Eun-bi, Nowz, THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE, Wonho, and Psycus will perform on stage.

ASEA 2026 is hosted by Newsen and AtStyle and organized by the ASEA Organizing Committee. It will be broadcast live in Japan via U-NEXT and domestically through Naver Chijijik and Naver TV. On May 15, Jungwon of Enhypen also departed for Japan through Gimpo Airport to attend the same event.
