In episode 9 of JTBC’s weekend drama ″Everyone Is Fighting Their Own Worthlessness″ (hereafter ″Moja Mussa″), Hwang Dong-man (played by Koo Kyo-hwan) faced heavy responsibility and fear as he signed a contract supported by the Korea Film Council, preparing for his debut as a film director. Go Hye-jin (played by Kang Mal-geum) instructed him to delete defamatory posts uploaded online, warning, ″People like you from yesterday will swarm like a pack of dogs hoping you fall.″ Park Young-soo (played by Jeon Bae-soo) also gave realistic advice, saying, ″There won’t be a single scene that goes as you want, and you’ll want to run away hundreds of times.″

Even in front of the congratulatory cake prepared by Byun Eun-ah (played by Go Yoon-jung), Hwang Dong-man was tormented by repentance over his past rather than wishing for success. Byun Eun-ah embraced him, saying, ″If you want to run away, I’ll let you run away somehow, and I won’t let you go through the fear you’ve experienced.″ Encouraged by her support, Hwang Dong-man expressed his gratitude while delivering an imagined acceptance speech for the Best New Director award, saying, ″If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be standing here.″

Meanwhile, after receiving feedback from Go Hye-jin to reinforce the protagonist’s ″evil details,″ Hwang Dong-man fell into contemplation but found a clue through a conflict with a loan shark entangled due to an accident involving his pet cat, Yoreum. Despite the accumulated interest exceeding five times the principal and threats and exposure texts from the loan shark, he realized that what scared him was not the threats but their tediousness and predictability. Byun Eun-ah also supported him, saying, ″This is why I like the director—a man who even borrowed from loan sharks to save a cat.″

Hwang Dong-man confronted the loan shark in person, saying, ″I need something scary right now. If you show me properly, ten million won won’t be a waste,″ and the loan shark retreated without threatening him. Declaring, ″It’s over as of today,″ Hwang Dong-man settled the debt relationship and shouted, ″There is no evil inside me, there is strength!″ solving the task of making the protagonist stronger.

At the same time, Oh Jung-hee (played by Bae Jong-ok) immediately recognized Byun Eun-ah, the biological daughter hiding behind the pen name ″Young-sil,″ in the ″Nak Nak Nak″ script. Having previously experienced taking a role by changing ″My Father,″ which was first offered by Noh Kang-sik (played by Sung Dong-il), to ″My Mother,″ attention is focused on what moves Oh Jung-hee will make regarding Byun Eun-ah’s script this time.

Additionally, there was a change in the relationship between Byun Eun-ah and her mother’s stepdaughter Jang Mi-ran (played by Han Sun-hwa). Jang Mi-ran confessed that it was difficult to act because real feelings arose the moment she said she loved her, and Byun Eun-ah supported her. The narrative surrounding the two daughters and Oh Jung-hee drew attention to the upcoming developments.

″Moja Mussa″ episode 10 will air on the 17th at 10:30 PM on JTBC.
