Yang Yoseop of the group Highlight took a bread taxi in Daejeon and went on a bread pilgrimage tour.

On May 14, a video titled ″What Happens When the Bread Lover Rides the Daejeon Bread Taxi″ was released on the YouTube channel ’Gogosing GOGOSING.’ In the video, Yang Yoseop arrived at Daejeon Station by train for the Daejeon bread pilgrimage. He said, ″I traveled two and a half hours from Seoul to arrive in Daejeon. There is still a lot left until the game.″

Yang Yoseop recently threw the first pitch at a Hanwha Eagles home game in professional baseball. When the production team asked, ″Isn’t there something most symbolic about Daejeon?″ Yang Yoseop answered, ″Sungsimdang.″ He added, ″I really like that bread.″

The production team explained that a special bread pilgrimage taxi unique to Daejeon was prepared. After greeting the taxi driver, the driver said, ″We have to leave quickly,″ and Yang Yoseop responded with a puzzled expression, ″Are we late?″ Then, Yang Yoseop ran after the driver and got into the taxi, receiving an itinerary prepared by the driver himself.

Visiting Sungsimdang as the first stop, Yang Yoseop was surprised to find various seasonings and digestive aids stocked inside the taxi. He said, ″Although I really like bread, I have never taken a trip just for bread. Now I am on a tour solely for bread. It feels strange.″ He also received a baker’s hat provided only to bread taxi passengers.

Afterward, Yang Yoseop toured Sungsimdang with the driver and shopped for bread, then visited Cold Butter Bake Shop and Pie Garden in order. After finishing the tour, he said, ″I tried this out and picked three bread recommendations that suit my taste. If any of you ever come to Daejeon, I hope you enjoy seeing how great Yang Yoseop’s taste is.″
