Nexz won first place on a music show for the first time since their debut on MBC M’s ’Show Champion’ on the 6th. The members said it was a special moment for both the team and their fandom, Nexty.

Recently, Nexz prepared their new album ’Eumtsuk’ with all members participating in the album production. Tomoya, Huey, and Yuki were credited for writing the title track ’Eumtsuk,’ and Tomoya and Yuki also contributed to the track ’Hype Man.’ Huey explained that he tried to capture Nexz’s actual tone and emotions by jotting down phrases that came to mind while on the move. Tomoya shared that the track ’Hype Man’ was created with the fans in mind.

This album embodies Nexz’s free-spirited energy. Huey said the chorus stuck in his ear the first time he heard the song, and Yuu expressed concerns about whether they could fully capture the song’s free-spirited vibe. The members said they practiced so hard they were drenched in sweat to create their unique team vibe.

Recalling the moment of their first win, Yuu said, ″The members were crying beside me, Nexty was crying in front of me... it felt like being in heaven.″ Haru said memories from their audition days before debut flashed through his mind, and Sogan and Haru admitted they were moved to tears by the fans’ support. Tomoya said he didn’t expect to win but was glad he didn’t give up when he received the trophy. Yuki said he will never forget the moment his name was called amid nervousness and anticipation.

They also shared their thoughts on the encore stage. Huey said he held back tears on stage because he wanted to perform the live perfectly, but the tears flowed as soon as he got off. Seita said the award was even more meaningful because they had been nominated several times before finally winning.

Regarding future goals, Nexz said that if they win first place again in their next activities, they want to fill the encore stage with songs. They also expressed a desire to show their friendly charm through various content such as variety shows. Haru and Seita emphasized how much they cherish their connection with the fans and want to stay with Nexty until the end. Nexz said they were able to overcome difficult times thanks to their fans and promised to continue their activities with even greater energy.
