Pyo Ji-hoon appears as the original character 'Bonggeundae' in Netflix's 'Punishment Education'... Introduces himself as a "nerdy character"

Pyo Ji-hoon (P.O) takes on the original character Bong Geun-dae, who does not appear in the original webtoon, showcasing a new side of himself in the Netflix series ″True Education.″
At the ″True Education″ production presentation held on the 5th at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, Pyo Ji-hoon explained the character Bong Geun-dae he plays. Bong Geun-dae is a genius officer who graduated early from KAIST in two years. After joining the School Authority Protection Bureau, he gradually immerses himself in his duties while experiencing schools, students, and the education field.
Pyo Ji-hoon said, ″Bong Geun-dae is a character with a ’nerdy charm.’ I think my image helped with the casting. My somewhat clumsy and not overly smart appearance seemed to influence the director’s choice.″ He added, ″I tried to make good use of those aspects,″ sharing the process of building the character.
Director Hong Jong-chan stated that the character Bong Geun-dae helps viewers naturally enter the world of ″True Education.″ He said, ″He had to be a character who is lovable yet smart. I found Pyo Ji-hoon very charming from his appearances on variety shows, so I immediately offered him the role.″
″True Education″ depicts the activities of the School Authority Protection Bureau, established to protect the collapsing education field due to students, teachers, and parents crossing boundaries. The cast includes Kim Moo-yeol, Lee Sung-min, Jin Ki-joo, and Pyo Ji-hoon. The entire series was released on Netflix at 5 p.m. that day.
