izna (Mai, Bang Ji-min, Coco, Yoo Sa-rang, Choi Jung-eun, Jung Se-bi) is releasing their third mini-album, ″SET THE TEMPO,″ today (the 8th) through various music platforms.

This album contains a total of five tracks, including the title track ″METRONOME.″ ″METRONOME″ features a sophisticated house rhythm and expresses the members’ attitude of maintaining their own beat in a chaotic world, just like a metronome that keeps a steady tempo. The song includes a dance break with repeated hand movements in the chorus and voguing elements, highlighting izna’s precise choreography and energy.

The other tracks include ″R.I.P.,″ which symbolizes breaking free from the past and taking a leap forward; ″INFINITY,″ a fan song dedicated to their fandom naya; ″ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS,″ which explores the psychological warfare in relationships; and ″LEAN ON ME,″ a song offering comfort to one another. Bang Ji-min and Yoo Sa-rang participated in writing the lyrics for ″INFINITY.″

The music video combines a fantasy narrative that blurs the line between reality and illusion, dreamy visuals, and stylish cinematography. It will depict izna dancing and finding solace in music in an upside-down world.

Through this album, izna emphasizes the message that ″we ourselves become the standard,″ showcasing their musical versatility across various genres. Following their first mini-album ″N/a″ and second mini-album ″Not Just Pretty,″ they continue their new narrative with the third mini-album ″SET THE TEMPO.″
