Lee Young-pyo candidly shared his thoughts on his three daughters’ dating and marriage.

In episode 360 of KBS 2TV’s ’The Manager Has Donkey Ears,’ Lee Young-pyo was shown communicating while holding a Teacher’s Day event with his ’Kickball Women’ students. When Lee Hyun asked, ″How would you feel if your daughters brought a boyfriend one day?″ Lee Young-pyo replied, ″I don’t think I could accept that. They are college students, so they should focus on their studies.″ He added, ″I’m not mentally prepared yet. I need more time. They should date when my heart is ready.″

Lee Young-pyo revealed that his eldest daughter is a junior in college, his second daughter is a freshman, and his youngest daughter is in the fifth grade of elementary school. He confessed that many of his friends have recently gotten married, and when he attends weddings, he feels angry when looking at the groom’s side. Also, when his students were curious about his love story with his wife, he introduced that they were like siblings when his wife was an intern at a broadcasting station during the All-Star game selection, and he confessed first, becoming a couple. This year marks their 23rd wedding anniversary.

After meeting with his ’Kickball Women’ students, Lee Young-pyo had a meal with his manager and explained that the manager’s trip to Mexico was canceled due to visa application issues. He also visited Gangneung Sports Complex to watch the match between Ulsan and Gangwon as an outside director of Ulsan and met with staff he had connections with during his time as Gangwon FC representative. At this meeting, he shared his opinion with Gangwon FC staff that tinting was needed because the inside of the men’s restroom was visible.

The broadcast also revealed a story about Lee Young-pyo having a marital fight with his wife during his time at PSV in the Netherlands. He said, ″My wife was pregnant. I bought flowers and baby clothes as gifts,″ recalling how he identified his wife with the baby at that time.
