BTS’s Jin Drops Relatable One-Liner: "If We Rest, We Should Get Healthy—Why Do We Have to Work Out to Be Healthy?"

Jin of the group BTS shared his struggles with adjusting to time zones during his overseas schedule, alongside a highly relatable behind-the-scenes look at his workout routine.
On June 7, a Vlog titled "Jin's NORMAL LOG" was uploaded to BTS's official YouTube channel, 'BANGTANTV.' In the released video, Jin spent his day off from performances hitting the hotel gym with a personal trainer.
As the workout began, Jin showed some confidence, saying, "I think I used to do about 15 pull-ups back in the day." However, he quickly seemed to run out of steam and hilariously tried to wrap up his sets as fast as possible.
What caught the most attention was when Jin opened up about the difficulties of dealing with jet lag while on an international tour. "I haven't been sleeping well. Because the time zone keeps shifting, I wake up at 6:00 AM and get sleepy at 2:00 AM," he sighed heavily. He then added, "If a person rests, they should naturally get healthy. Why do we have to work out to be healthy?" expressing his delightfully candid and humorous thoughts on working out, which struck a chord with many viewers.
Jin went on to share his firm (?) fitness philosophy, stating, "I don't do those fancy five-set workouts. I'm weak, so three sets are more than enough for me," before bringing the recording to a swift and clean end.
Fans who watched the video left enthusiastic comments, such as "It's amazing to see him working out even when he's exhausted from jet lag," "Every single word out of his mouth is iconic," and "I love how relatable he is when he complains about working out."
