Kim Yong-bin Tops FANNSTAR Trot Ranking for 54 Consecutive Weeks… New Cumulative Voting Benefits Introduced

Singer Kim Yong-bin continued to demonstrate his unrivaled presence by securing first place in the FANNSTAR Trot Ranking for the 54th consecutive week.
Kim Yong-bin ranked No. 1 in the second week of June FANNSTAR Trot Ranking vote, held from June 8 to June 15, with 2,026,475 votes. Hwang Young-woong placed second, while Jang Min-ho ranked third. His overwhelming vote total of more than two million reflects the unwavering support of his fans.
Special benefits tied to consecutive No. 1 records also continue. Kim Yong-bin previously received a Wangsimni billboard advertisement for achieving 10 consecutive weeks at No. 1 and earned a Hongik University Station Airport Railroad AM Board advertisement after reaching 30 consecutive weeks. In addition, a large-scale congratulatory video at Hongdae M Screen has been confirmed following his achievement of 50 consecutive weeks at the top.
Recently, a new cumulative voting benefit system was introduced to the Trot Ranking. Unlike the consecutive-week rewards, these benefits are based on total accumulated votes. Artists who reach 100 million cumulative votes will receive an advertisement on the Express Bus Terminal Triple Panorama display. Reaching 300 million votes will unlock an E-Vision Transfer Passage advertisement, while 500 million votes will earn a Korea Building billboard advertisement. The new benefits have generated even greater interest, as fans’ continued participation can now lead to additional support projects.
On June 12, Kim Yong-bin was appointed as an ambassador for the “Nabi Saegim” Elder Abuse Prevention Campaign at the 10th Elder Abuse Prevention Day event hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare at the Grand Ballroom of Seoul Garden Hotel.
The Ministry stated that Kim Yong-bin was selected because he is an artist with strong public appeal and recognition, as well as a cultural icon loved across generations, making him an ideal figure to help promote elder abuse prevention and a culture of respect for seniors.
Kim Yong-bin shared, “I am grateful to be given a role that can support and encourage our senior citizens. I will do my best to raise awareness and promote interest in preventing elder abuse so that all seniors can live in a safe and respectful environment.”
Meanwhile, FANNSTAR, operated by THE FACT, is a fan-participation platform that contributes to fandom culture through rankings and billboard support projects. Voting for various categories, including the Trot Ranking, begins every Monday and is open to fans worldwide.
