BTS celebrated their 13th debut anniversary by holding the world tour ″Arirang″ concert at Busan Asiad Main Stadium on the 13th.

A total of 110,000 spectators attended the two-day event on the 12th and 13th, and the members gave fans who came to the venue ″fan gifts″ consisting of handwritten thank-you message cards, perfume, umbrellas, towels, and more. The concert lasted about 2 hours and 40 minutes, featuring songs from the 5th full album ″Arirang″ such as ″Swim″ and ″Body to Body,″ as well as hit songs like ″Idol,″ ″Dynamite,″ and ″Butter.″ The 360-degree stage shaped like the Taegeukgi flag, a pavilion inspired by Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, and special effects including fireworks and flames enhanced the experience, and fans at the venue enjoyed the show while waving their ″ARMY Bombs.″

This was BTS’s first concert in Busan in 3 years and 8 months since the October 2022 concert supporting the bid for Expo 2030 Busan. Jimin, a member from Busan, expressed happiness about performing on such a meaningful day in his hometown, and Jungkook also greeted fans in the Busan dialect. The members thanked fans, saying, ″Thanks to you all, we were able to endure a long time well.″

On the first day of the concert, audience entry was delayed, causing the show to start about 1 hour and 15 minutes later than scheduled. Big Hit Music apologized, explaining that the delay was due to confusion with on-site guidance, distribution of fan gifts, and bottlenecks in the merchandise collection process.

Alongside the concert, the ″BTS The City Arirang Busan″ project took place at major Busan landmarks. Various contents such as drone shows and media facades were displayed at Haeundae Beach, Busan Cinema Center, and Gwangandaegyo Bridge, and a large crowd gathered at the Shinsegae Department Store Centum City pop-up store. This revitalized the local Busan economy, with reports from on-site officials noting increased sales and additional staffing at souvenir shops near Busan Station and convenience stores near the concert venue.

BTS will continue their world tour with a total of 86 shows in 34 cities until March next year. The tour began in April in Goyang and has been held in Tokyo, Tampa, El Paso, Mexico City, Stanford, Las Vegas, and other locations, with a cumulative audience of about 1.2 million people so far.
