Rapper Yuk Ji-dam revealed that she is working as a consultation manager at a plastic surgery clinic. In a recent video released on the YouTube channel ’JustDoctor ᄋᄉᄋ,’ Yuk Ji-dam shared her daily life and talked about her career change.

Yuk Ji-dam said that at first, she hid the fact that she was working at a plastic surgery clinic because she was worried that her name might cause prejudice. She stated, ″I actually hid that I was working at a plastic surgery clinic before. I thought negatively that my full name could cause prejudice and people might view me unfavorably.″

The turning point in her thinking was an interview with the clinic director. Yuk Ji-dam said that when the director said, ″I know you are famous and that you have done music. Even if you do something different, it can have a positive impact. Let’s work well together with our clinic,″ and presented a vision, she decided to go public. Yuk Ji-dam said, ″Honestly, I didn’t plan to reveal that I was working at the clinic, but after meeting the director and coming to this clinic, I ended up revealing it through Reels.″

The clinic director explained in the video that they posted a recruitment notice because they needed a consultation manager, and Yuk Ji-dam applied. At the time of the interview, the director said that Yuk Ji-dam’s outfit, tone of voice, posture, and goals were good compared to other applicants, even excluding her fame as Yuk Ji-dam. The director also added that some visitors came to the clinic after seeing Yuk Ji-dam.

Yuk Ji-dam gained recognition as the ’Hip-hop Flirt’ on Mnet’s 2014 audition program ’Show Me the Money 3’ and later appeared on various entertainment programs such as ’Unpretty Rapstar.’ She has confessed to experiencing a slump. After working night shifts at a convenience store and at a pizza place, she started as a hospital coordinator and explained that she applied to about 100 places before transferring to her current position as a consultation manager.
