Ahn Young-mi greeted her listeners as she went on maternity leave ahead of the birth of her second child.

On the 21st, Ahn Young-mi announced her maternity leave on her SNS with a message to the listeners of MBC FM4U’s ″Date at Two with Ahn Young-mi,″ saying, ″My dear Dudengies. I will have a healthy and strong delivery and come back.″ She added, ″I hope you don’t switch to other radio shows while I’m away. Our ’Dude’ production team might lose their confidence,″ and requested, ″Since I will be monitoring all the time, please keep the special DJ Ujjujju in moderation.″

After the broadcast that day, marking the start of her maternity leave, Ahn Young-mi expressed, ″I can’t believe I’m having my second child. It feels like a dream that this is my last broadcast.″ The released photos showed a visibly pregnant Ahn Young-mi smiling brightly with the production team and holding a cake with the phrase ″Have a safe delivery and come back.″

Ahn Young-mi married a non-celebrity husband working at a foreign company in 2020. In July 2023, she gave birth to her first son in the United States, where her husband resides, and she is expecting her second child in July. When she gave birth to her first child in the U.S., she was caught up in controversy over giving birth abroad, but she stated, ″I wanted to experience the precious pregnancy and childbirth, which might only happen once in a lifetime, together with my loving husband.″

Regarding her return after childbirth, Ahn Young-mi said, ″Since both my first and second births are by cesarean section, I hope to recover quickly, but I will decide based on my physical condition. Honestly, I want to come back even the day after giving birth.″
