Koyote member Baekga revealed his past dating experience with an older woman who had no money.

On the June 20th broadcast of MBN’s ’Sokpuri Show Dongchimi,’ the topic was ″I Protect My Hard-Earned Money.″ MCs Kim Yong-man and Lee Hyun asked Baekga who he would choose between a woman he loves 100% but who is penniless and in debt, and a woman he likes about 50% who is wealthy.

Baekga answered that he would choose the woman he loves 100%, and revealed that he actually dated an older woman who had no money for a long time. He said, ″I have met women who really didn’t work, and also those who worked but were lacking. I chose the penniless woman I loved 100% because I dated her longer.″

He went on to say that when he was dating the penniless girlfriend, people around him advised him to break up. He shared, ″She was so nice but didn’t spend any money. Even after dating all day, she didn’t spend a single penny,″ revealing his concerns at the time. After drinking, he sent a message to a friend saying, ″She didn’t spend anything today either,″ and the conflict started when his girlfriend saw the message next to him.

Baekga explained the argument, saying, ″She was older, and said she didn’t spend money because she didn’t want to hurt my pride since she’s older. We dated for quite a while, but even if she’s older, not spending even 10 won is something anyone could do.″ As their voices got louder, the older woman called him ″yae″ (a casual way to say ″hey″ in Korean), and Baekga said, ″When we were fighting, she said ’yae,’ not ’ya.’ I said, ’Yae? Say ya!’ Then she said, ’Yae is hurting my throat. Don’t shout.’ We fought like that and broke up.″

When Hyun-young asked about the identity of the older woman, Baekga playfully replied, ″Yes.″
