Park Hyun-ji personally explained the process of becoming a flight attendant and the salary through her YouTube channel ″This is Park Hyun-ji.″

Recalling her time as a flight attendant, Park Hyun-ji held a Q&A session and revealed the reason she majored in aviation operations. She said that she did not initially aim to become a flight attendant, and while worrying about her career path due to her college entrance exam scores not meeting expectations, she registered for a flight attendant academy on a friend’s recommendation. She then prepared and entered the aviation operations department.

Park Hyun-ji stated that after attending school for about a year and a half, she applied for and passed the Korean Air open recruitment. At that time, her TOEIC score was 670, which she submitted to meet the cutoff. She also mentioned that her GPA was 3.4, the lowest among the successful applicants, and said that specifications and GPA did not seem to be very important.

Regarding flight attendant salaries, she did not disclose specific amounts but explained that interns receive higher pay compared to regular employees. After becoming a regular employee, she added, they receive a base salary and flight allowance according to rank, and the monthly salary varies depending on flight hours. She also explained that during overseas stays, they receive a per diem in dollars adjusted to the exchange rate of the respective country.
