WHIB Reclaims No. 1 on FANNSTAR New Star Ranking… Rookie Competition Heats Up Again

WHIB regained the top spot on the FANNSTAR New Star Ranking, once again proving its presence as one of the next-generation K-pop rookies.
WHIB ranked No. 1 in the third week of June New Star Ranking vote, held from June 15 to June 22, with 331,096 votes. UNIS placed second, while ALL(H)OURS ranked third. Returning to the top after just one week, WHIB demonstrated the strength of its fandom amid fierce rookie competition.
The New Star Ranking is open to rookie idols who debuted after 2023 and is regarded as one of the key indicators of a next-generation K-pop artist’s growth potential and fandom competitiveness. With rankings changing every week, WHIB’s return to No. 1 has drawn attention to the future competition.
WHIB previously achieved five consecutive weeks at No. 1 and earned the ALL THE K-POP YouTube main banner advertising benefit. Having reclaimed the top spot, the group is once again aiming for a new winning streak, with fans closely watching whether it can reach 10 consecutive weeks at No. 1.
Recently, WHIB has also expanded its overseas activities. The group successfully held its first solo concert in Bangkok and met global fans. Receiving enthusiastic responses from local audiences, WHIB showcased its growing stage presence and performance abilities. As the group continues to expand beyond Korea, expectations for its future activities continue to rise.
Meanwhile, FANNSTAR, operated by THE FACT, is a fan-participation platform that contributes to fandom culture through various rankings and billboard support projects. Voting for categories including the New Star Ranking begins every Monday and is open to fans worldwide.
