The girl group RESCENE (Woni, Live, Minami, Mei, Jenna) has been appointed as tourism ambassadors for Gyeongju City.

On the 29th, Gyeongju City announced that RESCENE had been appointed as tourism ambassadors. RESCENE includes member Jenna, who is from Gyeongju, and will participate in various activities to promote Gyeongju’s historical culture and tourism content both domestically and internationally. Gyeongju City explained that, citing the global influence of K-pop, they selected RESCENE as ambassadors who can approach young generations and overseas tourists in a friendly manner.

Their agency, The Muse Entertainment, stated that RESCENE will actively promote the charm and tourism content of Gyeongju both at home and abroad. The appointment ceremony will be held at a later date. RESCENE plans to participate in various Gyeongju City projects to help revitalize tourism and enhance the city’s brand value.

Member Jenna previously gained the nickname ″Silla Princess″ by showcasing dialect concept content on Woni’s personal YouTube channel, ″Hello, this is Woni, nice to meet you.″ Gyeongju is Jenna’s hometown, and RESCENE has also been appointed as ambassadors for Geoje City and Suwon City, the hometowns of members Woni and Live, respectively.

Joo Nak-young, mayor of Gyeongju City, said, ″I am very honored to work with RESCENE, which includes Jenna from Gyeongju,″ and added, ″I hope RESCENE, with their youthful and fresh charm, will become strong ambassadors who widely promote Gyeongju’s historical culture and tourism resources both domestically and internationally.″

Meanwhile, RESCENE, which debuted in 2024, recently achieved a reverse climb on the music charts with ″LOVE ATTACK.″ On the 8th of next month at 6 p.m., they will release a new song, a remake of Kara’s ″Pretty Girl,″ through various online music platforms.
