KBS 2TV variety show ’2 Days & 1 Night Season 4’ presented the first story of the ’Route 7 Healing Trip’ with six members in the broadcast on the 5th. The episode recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 7.4% according to Nielsen Korea, ranking first in the same time slot, and achieved a peak minute rating of 10.2% during the scene where Lee Yong-jin took on the mission ’Hide Well, Don’t Get Photographed.’

On that day, the members started the opening in Donghae City, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, and received a mission to travel along Route 7 to Gyeongju City, Gyeongsangbuk-do. If they failed to arrive at the Gyeongju base camp by 6 p.m., they would be immediately eliminated at that location and punished by having to proceed on foot.

Before departure, the production team gave each member one ice cream, revealing the condition that they had to finish the ice cream before boarding the vehicle. The members quickly ate their ice creams and got on the vehicle heading to their first destination, Samcheok City, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province.

In Samcheok City, wearing life jackets and helmets, the members took on the ’Infinite Backstroke Quiz’ mission. They entered the cold seawater and repeatedly swam backstroke until they answered correctly, eventually all answering correctly after about an hour and getting out of the water.

Afterwards, when the production team asked, ″Would you like a smoothie?″ the members spent additional time buying and eating snacks. At the next mission location, a restaurant in Uljin County, Gyeongsangbuk-do, they were informed that they could spin a wheel and eat as much of the menu item as they wanted, but in reality, only one serving per person was provided. The members quickly shared the food and immediately spun the wheel again. Just as they were about to leave after eating, Moon Se-yoon secretly spun the wheel, forcing the lunch break to be extended.

While traveling to Yeongdeok County, Gyeongsangbuk-do, the ’AI Dialect Music Quiz’ mission continued in the vehicle. Thanks to the efforts of Lee Yong-jin and Lee Joon, they answered all six questions correctly and secured one coffee per person. Upon arriving in Yeongdeok, the members attempted the ’Hide Well, Don’t Get Photographed’ mission on Metasequoia Road but failed several times to cross the finish line without being spotted by the production team. During this process, Lee Ki-taek made several mistakes, and DinDin remarked, ″He seems a bit slow.″

After several attempts, the last runner Lee Yong-jin crossed the finish line, completing the mission in Yeongdeok. Attention is now focused on whether the six members can arrive at the base camp within the time limit in the next story.
