Park Jin-young will return to the music industry by releasing a new song on the 23rd. JYP Entertainment announced on the 8th that Park Jin-young will resume his primary career as a singer through the new song. The new song is a dance track, and Park Jin-young plans to continue his music show activities starting with the KBS2 ’Music Bank’ stage on the 24th.
In addition to music shows, Park Jin-young plans to perform at summer festivals. On the 26th, he will appear at ’Waterbomb Seoul 2026’ to meet the audience. Having attracted attention last year with his bold costumes and stage manners, he is expected to present a unique performance again this year.
There have been changes in his management activities. In March, Park Jin-young resigned from his position as an inside director of JYP and decided to maintain only the role of Chief Creative Officer. Accordingly, he is focusing on creative activities, nurturing juniors, and external affairs.
Additionally, since October last year, he has been serving as co-chairman of the Presidential Committee on Popular Culture Exchange. This new song is Park Jin-young’s first comeback work that combines his external activities with his artist career.
Park Jin-young debuted in the music industry in 1994 and has released numerous hit songs such as ″Honey″ and ″Don’t Leave Me.″ After founding JYP in 1997, he debuted several groups including god, Wonder Girls, 2PM, TWICE, and Stray Kids.
