In episode 6 of tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama ″Tomorrow at Work!″, Kang Si-woo (Seo In-guk) and Cha Ji-yoon (Park Ji-hyun) resolve a long-standing misunderstanding, confirm their true feelings for each other, and develop into a couple.

In this episode, upon hearing the news that Kang Si-woo is leaving for the United States, Cha Ji-yoon, unable to control her emotions, announces her intention to leave the TF team. Kang Si-woo tries to hold her back, but Cha Ji-yoon distances herself, saying it is difficult to work together. Kang Si-woo shows signs of distress, worried that his feelings might have been revealed. Cha Ji-yoon takes a day off and meets her friend Lee Hye-ji (Ahn So-yo), confessing that her boss is a divorced man and the ex-husband of her mentor, vowing not to repeat incomplete relationships.

Kang Si-woo visits Cha Ji-yoon’s home, where she has not come to work, and offers her a croissant while asking her to return. However, Kang Si-woo, misunderstanding that Cha Ji-yoon feels burdened, draws a line, saying that his kindness was just consideration for a colleague or junior. Cha Ji-yoon expresses discomfort with her boss coming to her doorstep.

Later, Jeon Ki-tae (Kang Ki-dong) and Shin Na-ri (Lee Jae-i) join the TF team, and a workshop is held with company support funds. At the workshop, Cha Ji-yoon shows disappointment at Kang Si-woo’s continued distancing, and when Kang Si-woo urges her not to leave the team, Cha Ji-yoon reveals the real reason: she is the one leaving for the United States.

After returning to the company, Cha Ji-yoon tries to avoid Kang Si-woo but ends up trapped alone in the product exhibition room. Kang Si-woo searches the company everywhere to find Cha Ji-yoon, whose contact is lost due to a dead phone battery. When they meet, Kang Si-woo confesses his rational interest, saying he could not bring Cha Ji-yoon into his life because of his age and divorce history.

At a meeting where Cha Ji-yoon visits her father Cha Young-mook (Yoo Sung-joo), she coincidentally reunites with Kang Si-woo and desperately asks him not to go to the United States but to stay by her side. Kang Si-woo replies that he cannot leave her behind. When Cha Ji-yoon approaches first and asks if she can kiss him, Kang Si-woo says he has waited a long time and kisses her back, confessing that he likes her.

Meanwhile, the episode recorded an average nationwide viewership rating of 4.3% based on Nielsen Korea’s paid households. Director Jo Eun-sol revealed that the sense of the season was actively reflected in the production and asked viewers to look forward to the remaining story.
