Singer The8 is officially starting activities as the new unit ’V8’. The8’s first mini-album as ’V8’, formed together with Vernon, a member of Seventeen, will be released on the 29th. This unit debut album is drawing attention with the participation of famous producers Mecatok and Pharrell Williams.

Recently, The8 was seen skillfully handling DJ equipment and dominating the stage at a performance. Wearing a white short-sleeve T-shirt and sunglasses while staring straight ahead, he showed the demeanor of a professional artist. Scenes of him holding a microphone and focusing on singing also caught attention.

Meanwhile, The8 will lend his voice to the audio guide of the exhibition ’The Immortal Painter Van Gogh, THE GREAT PASSION,’ which opens on the 29th at Seoul Arts Center.
