'I Am Solo' Season 28's Kyungsoo declares legal marriage through marriage registration: "Correcting the 13-year age gap, no family worries"


Kyungsoo, a contestant from the 28th season of ″I am SOLO,″ announced that he has completed his marriage registration and is now legally married. On the 7th, Kyungsoo shared wedding photos with his fiancée on his SNS, marking a new beginning.
In his post, Kyungsoo said, ″Today, I stand at a new starting line with the most precious person in my life.″ He added, ″We have completed our marriage registration based on deep trust and love for each other, and we are now legally married.″
Kyungsoo also addressed rumors about their age difference circulating online. He stated, ″Recently, it has been mistakenly reported or shared that our age difference is 21 years, but this is not true. Our age difference is 13 years.″ He continued, ″Since it is a considerable age gap, I deeply understand all the concerns and interest sent our way,″ and respectfully requested, ″Please correct the misinformation so that my wife and family, who are starting a new chapter, do not worry due to misunderstandings that are not based on facts.″
Kyungsoo expressed his determination for the future, saying, ″Starting anew today, I will cherish my wife and protect her firmly as the head of our family.″
In March, Kyungsoo revealed his relationship by sharing photos with his girlfriend, and about three months later, he shared the wedding photos and news of their marriage registration. Recently, he also revealed that he attended the wedding of the 28th season couple Oksun and Youngho and caught the bouquet.
Kyungsoo appeared on ENA·SBS Plus’s ″I am SOLO″ 28th season special for divorced singles. Although he became the final couple with Youngsook on the show, they did not continue as a real-life couple. Born in 1978, Kyungsoo is the first Korean goalkeeper to play professionally in Europe and is currently the CEO of a startup related to sports video.
